Doubles and triples: Jamie McMurray added a Brickyard 400 victory to the Daytona 500 he won at the beginning of the season. The owner of McMurray’s No. 1 Chevy, Chip Ganassi, has also won the Indianapolis 500 this year with driver Dario Franchitti.
All for nothing: Juan Pablo Montoya has led 202 laps in the past two races here – 116 in 2009 and 86 on Sunday – without winning either.
